• Week of 10 March: Continued demolition of the carpark structures working from Waterloo St towards Victoria Rd. Continue ground remediation works, and erection of Victoria Rd hoarding and scaffold.

• Week of 17 March: Continued demolition of main club structure and also carpark structures at Victoria Rd side. Continue ground remediation works. Laneway will be closed on Friday 21 March from 7 am to 5 pm.

• Week of 24 March: Laneway will be closed on Monday 24 March from 7 am to 5 pm. Demolition works continue on the main club structure along Victoria Rd, along with ongoing remediation works.

• Week of 31 March: Main club demolition works continue, alongside ongoing remediation works. Substation installation works begin on Monday 31 March and continue until 8 April. Laneway closed on Friday 4 April from 7 am to 5 pm.

April

• Week of 7 April: Main club demolition and remediation works continue, with substation installation ongoing until 8 April. Trenching works on Waterloo St begin on Monday 7 April and continue until Thursday 17 April, with weekday traffic management, work zones, and restricted parking in place from 7 am to 5 pm.

• Week of 14 April: Main club demolition and remedial works continue, with trenching works on Waterloo St ongoing until Thursday 17 April. Load out of demolition materials and decanting of equipment will occur throughout the week.

• Week of 21 April: Site will be closed over the Easter long weekend. Main club demolition and ongoing remediation works continue, including loading out, excavation and works on Waterloo St. Hoarding installation will commence this week on Victoria Rd.

• Week of 28 April: Main club demolition and ongoing remediation works continue, with undergrounding works on Waterloo St progressing throughout the week.

May

• Week of 5 May: Main club demolition and remediation works continue, with demolition contractor beginning to demobilise from site. Night trenching works on Victoria Rd for electrical conduit installation are also underway.

• Week of 12 May: Main club demolition is largely complete and the contractor has demobilised from site. The ground works contractor will establish on site from Wednesday 13 May and commence initial field test work.

• Week of 19 May: Main club demolition is now complete, with the demolition contractor demobilised from site. The civil contractor has now taken possession and commenced ground works.

• Week of 26 May: Ongoing remediation works will continue this week, including the carting of spoil within the site as ground preparation progresses.

June

• Week of 2 June: Ongoing remediation works continue this week, with hoarding re-location works along Victoria Rd commencing Tuesday 3 June.

• Week of 9 June: Ongoing remediation works continue, with hoarding relocation along Victoria Rd impacting pedestrian access along the site frontage.

• Week of 16 June: Ongoing ground works continue this week, alongside minor internal works occurring on site. Sales inspections have commenced at the display suite which may result in increased street parking activity.

• Week of 23 June: Ongoing ground works continue, with piling works commencing on site this week. Localised temporary relocation of site boundary hoardings to allow for piling access/installation.

July

• Week of 30 June: Ongoing ground and piling works continue, including regular large truck deliveries, completion of the redundant substation’s demolition (the new substation is now live), and temporary, localised adjustments to site hoardings to enable piling access and installation.

• Week of 7 July: Ongoing ground and piling works continue this week, including concrete deliveries, spoil removal, and drilling. Minor demolition works and material removal will occur along the Waterloo St boundary.

• Week of 14 July: Ongoing ground and piling works continue this week, with activities including bulk excavation, spoil removal, and construction of the concrete capping beam over the piles. This will result in an increased number of trucks entering and exiting the site.

• Weeks of 21 & 28 July: Bulk excavation and spoil removal continues, alongside piling, ground anchoring, and construction of concrete capping beams over the piles.

August

• Week of 4 August: Piling is now complete. Bulk excavation and spoil removal continue this week, alongside ground anchoring, shotcrete to basement walls and construction of concrete capping beams over the piles.

We’re nearing completion of bulk excavation and will soon commence structural works involving deliveries and concrete pours. A work zone on Darling Street has recently been approved and will come into use from November, with crane erection scheduled before Christmas.

Work on site will be busy over the summer as structural works continue. The first crane will be installed in December, with the second crane and the hoarding to follow in the new year. There will also be regular deliveries, crane lifts and more traffic movements during this period, along with an increase in labour on site and some intermittent noise as works progress. Much of the increased traffic movement will be via the newly approved work zone on Waterloo St and we will have full time traffic control personnel to manage this.
